The Punjab NEET Counselling is conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot (BFUHS). Counselling for admissions to MBBS/BDS programmes will be done based on the NEET-UG scores obtained.
The NEET counselling process is held online and includes three rounds. The last round is “Mop-up” which is conducted if any seats remain vacant after Round 1 and Round 2.
Punjab has three government hospitals, six private hospitals, and one AIIMS (which will be filled through MCC). There are 1285 MBBS seats from the State Quota (Excluding 15 per cent AIQ seat). The Medical Counseling Committee will undertake a centralised counselling procedure for AIIMS seat allocation (MCC).
The candidates have to qualify for the NEET exam and complete the registration process to participate in the Punjab NEET MBBS Counselling process.
