NEET 2022 Exam Pattern: National Testing Agency or NTA decides the NEET 2022 Exam Pattern. The NEET 2022 Exam Pattern is designed in such a way so as to choose the best candidates for various Medical courses. Yearly more than 15 Lakhs students appear for the NEET examinations.
The exam will be conducted in different centres across the country. Candidates who wish to appear for the NEET 2022 examination must be aware of the NEET 2022 exam pattern so that they can prepare accordingly and crack the NEET exam in the very first attempt itself.
The online application form for NEET 2022 will be released on the 2nd week of July 2022 by NTA. Certain Eligibility criteria have to be checked before applying for the NEET 2022 examination. The syllabus of the NEET examination is decided by the exam organizing authority and as per the latest notification from the authority, the syllabus will remain unchanged and would stay the same as the previous year.

Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks and 1 mark would be deducted for every wrong attempt.

Based on the exam pattern of NEET 2022, the NEET question paper will contain three sections namely Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. NEET question paper will have a total of 180 MCQ (multiple choice questions). 45 each in Physics & Chemistry, and 90 questions from Biology.

NEET 2022 Marking Scheme
All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions) in NEET 2022. Each question has a choice of four answers. Each question carries 4 marks for every correct answer. Marks will be deducted for wrong answers. A detailed description of the marking scheme is given below.
Correct Answer: Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks
Wrong Answer: One mark will be deducted for each wrong attempt
Unanswered Question: No marks will be deducted for unattended questions.
Multiple Response: Two or more responses marked for the same question will be considered as incorrect answers and one mark will be deducted for the same.

Medium of Question paper- Language Options In NEET 2022
- The medium of question paper has to be selected during the filling of the NEET 2022 application form.
- The language chosen once cannot be altered later.
- Candidates who opted for English will be provided with the Test Booklet in English language only.
- Candidates opting for any other language medium will be provided with a Bilingual Test Booklet, in their selected language preference, and English.
- The English version of the question paper shall be treated as final in case of any ambiguity in the translation.

General Instructions for Filling Up The OMR Sheet
- The answers have to be marked using a ballpoint pen.
- The changing of answers on the OMR sheet is not allowed.
- Erasing/wiping or destroying any printed information on the OMR sheet is a punishable offence.
- The rough work should be done in the space provided.
- The candidate has to mark the test booklet code on the OMR sheet, failing to this will land the candidate in trouble.
