The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2022 application form Notification will be available on the NTA‘s official website shortly. The application process for NEET was supposed to begin in January. However, it is expected that it will begin in March. The current COVID situation affected the entire country as a result the NEET exam might be delayed.
The NEET exam is expected to have 200 questions, with candidates having to attempt 180 of them. The NEET exam will be divided into four sections, with a total of 720 marks. Important Instructions for NEET Aspirants
- The NEET application process will be completely online and the applicants should visit the official website and complete their procedures as instructed in this article.
- Only eligible candidates will be able to apply for the NEET Examination, so the NTA will release the application form specifically for them.
- The information entered by applicants in the NEET application form must be supported by valid documentation, as any incorrect information will result in the application form being rejected.

The applications fees can be paid only through online mode. Applicants can pay the NEET Application Fee with a Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Paytm.

Steps to Fill Out NEET 2022 Application Form
The application process will be conducted completely online and the candidates can follow the below steps for filling out their application forms.

NEET 2022 Application Form: Correction Window
The NEET 2022 Correction facility will be available a few days after the registration process is completed. Candidates will be able to make corrections on their NEET 2022 application form beginning in April 2022.
The correction facility will allow candidates to correct their details in the application form, but the correction facility is limited. Corrections can only be made for certain fields. The correction facility can be utilised only once and no candidate will be allowed to change their information in the application form more than once.

NEET 2022 Admit Card
The NEET 2022 admit card will be available online, and candidates can download it by logging in with their application number and date of birth/ password. The NEET admit card will only be available online, and it will not be mailed to anyone.
After logging in, candidates must review their information, including their name, NEET 2022 roll number, photograph, signature, exam centre, and exam day guidelines and instructions. After reviewing the details, the candidate can download their application form. Make sure to keep extra copies of the admit cards with you.
Applicants can download the NEET 2022 admit card until the exam date, and it must be kept until the counselling process is completed.

Qualification
- Applicants must have passed their 12th grade or its equivalent from a recognised board or university and they must have completed the 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as mandatory subjects.
- Candidates belong to general category must have obtained a number of 50 percent in PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) . ST/SC/OBC candidates must have obtained 40% of the marks, while PWD candidates must have obtained 45 percent of the marks.
- Aspirants who have been studied abroad and wish to enrol in medical colleges in India must have completed their 12th grade with 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, as defined by AIU and MCI.
- Aspirants who will be taking their 12th grade exams in 2022 are also eligible to apply for NEET.

NEET 2022 Answer Keys
Basidia will release unofficial NEET 2022 answer keys on the day of the exam. The official provisional NEET 2022 answer keys will be released by the NTA approximately two weeks after the exam.
Candidates can file challenges or objections to the NEET 2022 answer keys within the specified time frame by paying a fee of INR 1,000 per question. Along with the results, the final answer keys will be made available.
NEET 2022 Exam Results
The NEET 2022 results are expected in the month of July 2022 and the result will be presented in the scorecard format. To download their scorecards, candidates must log in with their credentials.
The scorecard will include information such as candidates’ sectional and overall scores, as well as percentiles. Candidates must print multiple copies of their NEET 2022 scorecard or result and keep them safe until the admissions process is completed.

NEET 2022 Counselling
The NEET counselling process will begin within a month of the announcement of the results. NEET 2022 counselling will be held for 15% of All India Quota seats and 85% of State Quota seats. The AIQ counselling process will be handled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), while the State Counselling for NEET 2022 will be handled by the respective state authorities.
Depending on the number of available seats, there will be two rounds of counselling followed by a mop-up round. When the NEET 2022 counselling notification is released, qualified candidates must register by filling out the form, uploading the required documents, and paying the registration fee. The next step is to complete the selection form.
When the seat allocation order is made available, candidates must download it, report to the institute, and complete the admission formalities in order to claim the seat. They could decline the seat in the first round and instead participate in the second round for an upgrade. Candidates who do not get a seat in both rounds will be eligible to participate in the mop-up rounds.
