Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday (July 12, 2021) announced the NEET 2021 exam date and application date. NEET 2021 is to be conducted on September 12, 2021, and the application form will be available from July 13 to August 6 up to 11.50pm. The admit card will be released three days prior to the exam. NEET 2021 aspirants can pay the fees for NEET 2021 till August 7, 11:50 Pm. NTA will open the application form correction window from August 8 to 12.

The NEET 2021 will be conducted as per the directives of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India. The NTA has announced that the NEET 2021 examination will be held on the 12th of September 2021.

Students can fill the NEET 2021 application form on NTA’s official website – Students who fulfil the eligibility criteria of NEET 2021  are only allowed to fill the NEET 2021 application form. To participate in the competitive examination the aspirants must fill the NEET 2021 application form on or before August 6, 11:50pm.

NTA has divided the application process for NEET UG 2021 into two sets/divisions to ensure candidate data is submitted fast.

First Set: The first set of information needs to be filled up before the last date of submission of the Application Form online.

Second Set: The second set of information needs to be filled up by the candidates before the declaration of the Result/ downloading of Score Card during the period that would be notified separately through NEET (UG) Portal in due course.

All candidates should fill up each set of information of the Application Form at the respective time of availability. In the absence of filling up of any
of the set of information, his/her candidature will be cancelled.

How to fill NEET application form 2021

Step 1: NEET Registration 2021

Go to the official page of the NEET and fill in the details. A password must be created as per the given directions and that password should be kept for future references. Application number will be generated and that will be your user id for future logins and further procedures.

Click on “Submit” The provisional application number will be displayed and the candidate must note down this application number for future reference


Login using the application number and password. Your  NEET 2021 application will open on your screen. The details entered during the registration process will be pre-filled in the application and cannot be changed

Steps for correction window in detail

  1. Browse the official website of NTA NEET
  2. Login using the application number and password
  3. Click on “Click here for correction in NEET 2021 Application Form”
  4. Your application form for NEET 2021 will be displayed on the screen and you can edit the required fields.
  5. Click on the  ‘Preview and Submit. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number
  6. Enter the OTP 
  7. Click  ‘Final Submit’
  8. A warning screen will pop up on the screen. If you are okay  with the corrections made, click on ‘Please do’
  9. The correction slip of the NEET 2021 application form will be displayed on the screen
  10. Save and print the correction slip
