- The applicants must have the domicile certificate of Jammu and Kashmir.
- The applicants must have reached the age of 17 by December 2021.
- The applicants must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as the compulsory subjects.
- 50% marks for UR/EWS candidates
- 40% marks for SC/ST candidates
- 45% marks for PwD candidates

Jammu and Kashmir NEET 2021 Counselling Process
The candidates have to register on the JKBOPEE’s official website to participate in the counselling process. The counselling process involves the following steps:
1. Document Verification – The candidates must complete the document verification process to be
eligible for J&K NEET Counselling 2021. They must report to the centre to finish the document verification process.
2. Release of State Merit List – After the document verification procedure is completed, the state NEET merit list will be issued, which will include the candidate’s name, position, NEET rank and score. Those candidates who qualify for the merit list will proceed to the next step of online registration and payment of fees.
3. Registration – To complete the registration process, the candidates can log in using the same credentials that they used to fill out the application form. The application fee for completing the registration is INR 1500 (irrespective of the category).
4. Choice Filling – For admission to MBBS/ BDS programmes, candidates must specify their preferred courses and colleges.
5. Seat Allotment – The seat allotment process will depend on various factors, including reservation categories, courses offered, seat availability, NEET-UG score and universities chosen. The list of the selected applicants will be published by the committee.
6. Reporting At the Institute –
Candidates must provide all required documents to the colleges during the admission process. If a candidate fails to report to the designated institute on time, his/her seat will be cancelled.
