The Delhi NEET Counselling 2021 process will be conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). From a total of 660 MBBS and 50 BDS seats, about 85% of the state quota and 15% of All India Quota seats are reserved. Delhi University is affiliated with all of these colleges. The mop-up round of NEET counselling will be conducted depending on seat availability. As there are vacant seats after the second round of counselling, a mop-up round has been organised.

Delhi NEET Counselling 2021 Eligibility Criteria
- All applicants for the MBBS admission at DU, must have reached the age of 17 as in December 2021.
- As of December 2021, the upper age limit is 25 years.
- The upper age limit for the reserved group will be relaxed by 5 years.
- Candidates must have passed the CBSE/ Council of the Indian School Certificate Examination/ Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi 12th class examination with the requisite subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English from any recognised school.
- Applicants must have scored a minimum of 50% and reserved category candidates must have a minimum of 40% marks.
- Under the 85% Delhi Quota, candidates who have passed the qualifying examination of Patrachar Vidyalaya or National Institute of Open Schooling would be eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS programmes.
- It is mandatory for students to pass the CBSE-conducted NEET UG 2021 test.
- Candidates must be medically fit for the MBBS programme.
Delhi MBBS Counselling Reservation Criteria
Seats will be reserved depending on the candidate’s category, according to government and MCC guidelines. Reservation is based on the category information provided on the NEET application form and the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMSC) registration form. Delhi NEET Counselling 2021 Process
The Delhi NEET counselling process for 2021 will be divided into three rounds that will also include the mop-up round. The step-by-step procedure of DU NEET counselling 2021 is listed below:
1. DU NEET Counselling Registration –
The first step that the applicants must do in order to participate in the DU NEET counselling 2021 is to complete the registration. Candidates can register by entering their NEET UG 2021 roll number, which can be found on their admit card. Candidates must also provide their personal and academic information in addition to the roll number. The Candidates must provide accurate information.
All correspondence and allotment will be based on the information provided, thus candidates should check that they have entered the accurate info. Candidates have to generate a password by following the instructions after giving all of the relevant information. Candidates must click the ‘Submit’ button after generating a password and filling out all of the required information.
2. Choice Filling and Locking Procedure –
Candidates must fill up their choice of colleges for their particular courses after registering (MBBS or BDS). Candidates have the option of selecting numerous colleges. They should ensure that their choices are locked after they have made their college selections. Else, before the portal shuts, the system will automatically lock the applicants’ selections. Candidates should be aware that they will not be allowed to modify their selections after the choices are locked. Thus, candidates should carefully consider their options before locking.
3. Seat Allotment Procedure
The seat allotment procedure will be done based on the choices filled and the availability of the vacant seats. This process will also be determined by other factors like NEET UG Rank, Reservation and the total no of seats available.
The first round of seat allotment lists will be announced in the first week of November, and the second round of seat allotment lists will be released in the final week of November. The seat allotment list for the mop-up round will be provided provisionally in the second week of December if any seats remain vacant.
The results of the DU NEET counselling will be available in PDF format and will be announced once the seat allotment list is released.
Once the results are out, the candidates must report to the specific colleges.

The MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) conducts counselling for the MBBS/BDS admissions in Delhi.
There are 3 rounds held to complete the admission procedure.
The aspirants will be eligible for the DU MBBS admission process under 15% AIQ and 85% state quota seats.
The application fee for the Delhi University NEET Counselling is Rs 1,000 for UR/EWS candidates, Rs 5,00 for SC/ST/OBC candidates and Rs 5,000 for all categories.
