NTA the authority which conducts the NEET examination has released instructions for filling OMR sheets. Candidates can find the sample OMR sheet on their official website

The National Testing Agency has decided to conduct the NEET-UG examination on September 12th and the application procedure for the same had ended on the 12th of August at 2 PM.

The 3 hours long examination will be conducted in pen and paper mode, using the OMR sheet as an answering medium. The authority has released a set of instructions regarding the OMR sheet filling to help the candidates. They even released a sample OMR sheet on their official website-https://neet.nta.nic.in/ for reference.

The OMR sheets are evaluated by computer software and this software is highly sensitive that a minor mistake made in the OMR sheet will be counted as a wrong attempt or unknown response. Candidates should keep in mind that this software can only read properly filled bubbles. Candidates can use only blue or black inked ballpoint pens for filling the OMR sheet.

On the other hand, the NTA has released the list of cities, where the NEET-UG exams will be conducted. Due to the sudden rise in COVID-19 cases, the authority has increased the number of exam cities from 155 to 198 to make sure that the NEET-UG will be conducted under mandatory COVID-19 protocols.
